On July 27 we expected to see one of the astronomical highlights for the year: a total lunar eclipse. We were really unlucky with the weather. Two weeks of sunshine and then a thunderstorm cell development southeast of our location and stayed there… Looking at weather apps, it was the only one in Bavaria We missed the beginning of the eclipse and most of totality. Eventually the clouds disappeared…
